About the event
The toughest thing about tough conversations is that they are tough. They may be hard, but they are necessary and give us and others a chance to learn, improve, and move on. Poorly handling tough conversations —or not handling them at all – creates problems for us at work and in life.
In this workshop, participants will:
- Learn foundational skills for navigating tough conversations with skill and grace.
- Discover and practice using the TOUGH model as a guide.
- Understand how to handle deflection or negative reactions that may sometimes occur.
- Be able to apply this information to increase comfort and success with these conversations personally and to guide others in their organizations.
