We are an HR and Organizational Development consulting firm based in the Triad region of

North Carolina, serving clients locally and nationwide.

 

InfluenceHR typically partners with small and mid-sized organizations

(30–300 employees) to deliver strategic HR solutions that strengthen leadership,

accountability, and people systems, fueling retention and growth.

LESLIE SPEAS

President

I am a senior-level HR leader with over 30 years of experience — and yes, I’m still sane! Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and nonprofit. I’m passionate about helping people reach their God-given potential and supporting organizations in creating workplaces where employees can truly thrive.

 

I have a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology & HR Management. In addition, I hold senior HR designations along with certifications in coaching, the Working Genius, the Enneagram, Mindfulness, Mental Health First Aid, and Talent Management/Succession Planning. I serve as a District Director with the North Carolina Society for Human Resources Management (NC SHRM), providing leadership and guidance to local SHRM chapters.

Outside of my work, I enjoy working out and am a “semi-retired” fitness and yoga instructor. I enjoy writing and am the author of 7 Habits of High-Retention Managers and a contributing writer for Forsyth Magazines.

As the primary consultant at InfluenceHR Consulting, I partner with a network of highly qualified professionals who share my values and commitment to helping clients build strong, healthy workplaces.
